May Day is a historic celebration going back to pagan heritage. It was a day of feasting and dancing throughout towns and villages across the UK. Back in the late 180s, May Day was a day in support of workers. Although the day only officially became a bank holiday in the UK in 1978.

At The Running Bug we’re celebrating May Day with a brand new virtual challenge. Participate in our May Day Mile challenge over the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend.
