With an area of approximately 11,000 square kilometres, Yorkshire is England’s largest county, located in the north.
Yorkshire has everything from countryside and national parks to cathedrals, museums and large cities.
One of the most famous parts of Yorkshire is the city of York. Founded in AD 71 by the Romans, York is home to the 13th-century cathedral York Minster, Tudor houses and medieval walls, as well as The interactive Jorvik Viking Centre.
It’s Yorkshire Day on the 1st of August. To make the occasion, we’ve arranged a long weekend challenge. So why not join us in God’s Own County and be a part of this very special virtual challenge.
