In the United States alone, about 50% to 60% of adults celebrate the day in some form, whether through giving gifts, sending cards, or planning special outings. Run, walk or jog 10k anytime on 14th February.  Complete this challenge as a couple or on your own. We also accept treadmill activities.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner trying to smash a PB or a beginner looking for motivation to stay fit and healthy, completing a virtual race is a massive achievement. Sharing your activities, photos and the story behind your run on social media platforms is a great way to keep yourself motivated and encourages others. 

Evidence

It is quick and easy to send your evidence to us after your race. Either take a photo of your watch or treadmill display showing your run statistics, or capture a screenshot of your completed activity from your running or fitness app.

Complete your details and upload your activity image onto our secure submission form.

You’ll receive email confirmation that we have received your evidence. And that’s all there is to it! 

Delivery

All medals are posted by either first or second class tracked postage using Royal Mail. The tracking reference number will be on the confirmation email when medals are sent. You can track the progress of your medal delivery at Track your Item | Royal Mail Group Ltd

Postage is FREE shipping of medals in the United Kingdom on orders over £40.00.

We accept entries from overseas. However, postage charges incur an extra cost for entries outside the UK. There may also be extra import duty charges and customs taxes depending on your country. You are reliable to pay such charges. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as they differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office.

Whilst we make every effort to post your medals out as quickly as possible, we cannot be responsible for any delays or missing items once we have posted your medals. The Running Bug is unable to take any responsibility for loss or damage during transit of your medals. However, please contact us if you have not received your medal within 7 days of receiving the confirmation email. Depending on stock levels, we may be able to send a replacement medal or issue you a refund. 

Photo Reviews

Photo reviews give our community to share real running photos and get rewarded. This is a great way to stay motivated and inspire others. Here’s how to take advantage.

When you have signed into your account, go to the race you entered on our website and click on the PHOTO REVIEWS tab. You can upload your photo there and leave a comment if you wish. You will then receive an email with a coupon code that entitles you to a discount on your next race.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this virtual challenge work?

A virtual challenge is done on a particular date or dates and sometimes at a specified distance. You can run, jog or walk, as fast or as slow as you like, anywhere you want. You’re in complete control. All participants will receive a medal. You can send your evidence after you have finished your challenge. Please contact us if you need more information about how virtual races work.  

Can I still enter this challenge if I don't live in the UK?

Yes you can. However, please note that there may be increased postage charge as medals are sent at Royal Mail’s international rates. 

There may also be extra import duty and custom taxes depending on your country. The Running Bug is unable to advise on these charges as there differ from country to country. We recommend you contact your local tax office. 

Where do I send my evidence for this challenge?

Complete and attach your evidence to our secure submission form on our Submit Your Evidence page. You can take a screenshot of your activity from any running, walking or exercise app and attach it onto the form. We also accept camera photos of treadmill displays. 

Tell me about your medals

We have a variety of medals available from aluminium, acrylic to wooden and hybrid.

We also offer more expensive 3D, custom-shaped medals made from zinc alloy and gold-plated. These types of medals come with stylish, printed ribbons.
