People run for many different reasons, but a large percentage of people run to help with health and wellbeing reasons.ย
Recent studies indicate an estimated 950 million people suffer with a mental disorder. Of which, approximately 800,000.00 deaths relate to suicides because of mental health issues.
World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October is an opportunity to not only spread awareness, but to support mental health charities.
This year, we are delighted to be able to donate 10% of all entry fees toย Mind, a charity focused on supporting people with mental health issues. You can also make a separate donation here.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
Run, walk or jog 5k on 10th October 2024 (World Mental Health Day). We accept treadmill activities.
